I'm in charge of coming up with designs for a Santa and Snowman Walking Sticks purchased from Cupboard Distributing. Here are photos of "Blueberry Santa" and a proto-type of Jack Pine Snowman. I want to change a few things on Jack, so he's still very much "under construction". We would love to have you join us to paint these walking sticks and participate in our annual Christmas Party and ornament exchange! The meeting is on December 3. Please send an e-mail through my site, if interested. Look for these packets in the Shop very soon.

All the projects taught at Honda are available as packets. They will be entered into the "What's New?" section of the "Shop" in the website, ASAP. All my packets are $7.00 with very few exceptions. If you want to purchase the packet for any of these projects, but don't see them in the shop, please e-mail me and we will work something out. Thanks for your patience!

The Decorative Painting Class for November is the Star Santa Ornament, shown in the photo. This packet will also have a Blueberry Star Santa and a Pine Star Santa. These are designed for beginners but are quick & easy projects for the experienced painter. The design is similar on all three Santa bodies, but the faces and beards are different. All three Santa are shown here and will be a packet, in the "Shop" very soon. The Anna Classes are on Tuesday, November 1, and the Marysville classes will be Tuesday, November 15. Times are the same for both locations: Class A is 9 AM to 11 AM, Class B is 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and Class C is 5 PM to 7:00 PM.

The November Watercolor Painting will be "Holly in Snow". The photo shown will be simplified for these beginner students but colors and techniques will remain the same. Look for this project to appear in the Watercolor Packet section within the next week. Class times are the same as above. Anna classes are on Monday, November 7 and Marysville classes are on Tuesday, November 22.

Classes have started at both Honda Wellness Centers near Marysville and Anna, Ohio These classes are open to members only but each member may bring two friends. I am a member and may accept two non-member students. If you are interested, e-mail me through the website.

The classes are geared toward beginners, but experienced students may enjoy these less stressful projects. The October Decorative Painting Class is called "Give Thanks" and features a cute turkey. The watercolor class is "Fall Leaves" which is pretty self explanitory. Dates for the classes are in the "Schedule" of the website. I will post the November classes next week.

The NEDA asked me to teach at their 2005 Reward Seminar which was held on June 4. Vera and I pose with my original project piece and demo board.

I had arrived early to spend a few days with best friends, Vera and Denny Collier of Bear Lake, Michigan. We have known each other for over 30 years and continue a long distance friendship since they moved from Lima, Ohio.

NEDA members work diligently on their project. I will list their names here when I get them. The student on the left has a "blessed" painting! Inside joke!

"Big Bear and Little Hare" was their choice for the full day seminar. Here members display their work with pride. I was able to find out most of the names: (left to right - back) Kathy Mowbry, Sue Sheffer, Carol Spangler, Nancy Keech, Vera Collier, Kathy Smith, and Joni Kesky. The front row is unknown. If anybody recognizes those three ladies, please e-mail me so I can put there names in here.

Thank you all for your hospitality and for the wonderful goody basket that greeted me. We must have had a wonderful time by the look on these faces! You all did a great job!
